Constructed in 1972, and featuring a 140 foot dam, the Meldon Reservoir is a great place for a walk at any time of year. Meldon also features a large iron Viaduct, originally constructed in 1874 as part of the railway line to Bridstow and Lidford. The Viaduct now forms part of the Tarka Trail cycle route.
